Taking the first steps

Medical Observation & Supervision

The journey to recovery begins with a period of comprehensive medical assessment and stabilisation. During this initial phase, patients are supported through a 72-hour medically supervised observation period, overseen by a doctor specialising in addiction medicine. This allows for close monitoring of physical and psychological wellbeing while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

We recognise that the early stages of treatment can be physically and emotionally demanding. Our multidisciplinary team approaches this phase with compassion, patience, and respect, providing continuous support and attentive care to promote stability and reassurance during this critical time.

For corporate clients or professionals who are unable to be away from work for extended periods, we offer a tailored 7-day medically supervised treatment programme. This includes the initial medical observation and stabilisation phase, followed by several days of focused therapeutic intervention designed to support early recovery while accommodating professional responsibilities.

After completing this programme, patients may choose to continue their treatment on-site or transition to structured care at home. For those returning home, we strongly encourage ongoing engagement in our afternoon therapeutic group sessions to maintain momentum and support continued recovery.
